HOSTING
If you require support due to your site being down or returning error messages, then please send us an email ASAP, with the exact error message, and then allow us time to investigate the matter.  We will then promptly email you with any information.
Downtime due to Hosting Server maintenance is VERY rare at Shine Out Designs, and usually done during the middle of the night in order to cause the least amount of interruption to your site. We are proud of the uptime of our hosting servers and will do all we can in order to continue the quality of our hosting accounts for all of our client's websites.




EMAIL SET UP
Need help setting up your Email? Follow the instructions below, if you are using our Business Hosting Plans:

OUTLOOK Users
Accessing your email accounts using the POP3 mail client, Outlook is as follows:
1. Open Outlook
2. Go to TOOLS, EMAIL ACCOUNTS
3. Choose Add New Email Account, click NEXT
4. Choose Pop3, click NEXT
5. User Info: Your Name
6. Email address: Your full email address eg
name@yourdomainname.com.au click NEXT
7. Logon Info: user name: full email address.  Password: your assigned password
8. Server Info: Incoming is a POP3: Use your domain name in this format eg mail.shineoutdesigns.com.au 
Outgoing (SMTP): use your Internet Providers details eg: Bigpond ISP users, need to use mail.bigpond.com or .net as their outgoing mail server. You can get this information from your ISP or from their website.

9. Click NEXT, click FINISH
To make this email account your default email:
Click on TOOLS, EMAIL ACCOUNTS
Choose VIEW OR CHANGE EXISTING EMAIL ACCOUNTS, click Next
and highlight the account called your domain name by clicking once on the name, and click on SET AS DEFAULT button. Then FINISH

OUTLOOK EXPRESS Users

Accessing your email accounts using the POP3 mail client, Outlook Express is as follows:
1. Open Outlook Express
2. Go to TOOLS, ACCOUNTS, ADD button (on right side), MAIL
3. In display name type: your full name - The name that will appear when someone receives an email from you, click NEXT
4 Email address: your email name@yourdomainname.com click NEXT
5. Leave it set at a POP 3 Client
6. Incoming mail server:
Use your domain name in this format eg mail.shineoutdesigns.com.au 
7. Outgoing mail server
(SMTP): use your Internet Providers details eg: Bigpond ISP users, need to use mail.bigpond.com or .net as their outgoing mail server. You can get this information from your ISP or from their website.
7. Account name: your full email address
8. Password: your assigned password, click NEXT, click FINISH, click CLOSE
To make this email account your default email:
Click on TOOLS, ACCOUNTS again, and highlight this email account by clicking once on the name, and click on SET AS DEFAULT button,  Then CLOSE

 

WEB MAIL
For those on our Business Hosting plans, accessing your WEB Mail, for sending and receiving email from any computer, go to: Open WebMail: http://your_domainname_here.com.au/webmail
User Name: your email address
Password: your password
Choose Horde Mail (or Squirrel Mail if you prefer).
On the next screen click on the Log in button.
Once you login to your WebMail account, you can click on the Mail menu on the left hand side to access your inbox.
The New Message tab, at the top of the page, opens a new blank message ready for you to send.

 

WEBSITE STATISTICS
If you have a Business Hosting account with us, your Live Website Statistics Reports can be viewed anytime, by going to the address we gave you on completion of your Website setup. The Stats URL consists of the following format:
http://www.yourDomainName_Here.com.au:2082/awstats.pl
Please use the user name and password that we gave you for accessing your Website Statistics. If you have misplaced this information, then drop us a brief email so we can reset your password for you.
When you log in to your Statistics, please click on the Update Now link at the top of your page.
then you can select the Reporting Period that you wish to view Stats reports for. The default month being displayed will be the current month's Statistics.
If you require further clarification on any of your Stats, then please drop us an email with your questions. We will gladly explain them to you.
